Connecting Your Smart Light
Step 1: Before connecting, please make sure that your smart phone or device is connected to your home 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi network and that you have Bluetooth switched ON.
Step 2: From your light switch, turn the light ON and then OFF three times in a row making sure the light comes on between each cycle. The smart light will then begin blinking rapidly meaning it is ready for configuration. If the light starts blinking rapidly when you first turn it on, this means it is already in configuration mode.
Step 3: Open the App and press the '+' button in the top right hand corner to add device.
Step 4: Navigate down the left hand menu until you find lighting. For Prism Smart Bulbs, Smart Downlights, Smart Oyster Lights, select the option: 'Light Source (Wi-Fi)'. For Prism Smart Strip Lights, select the option: 'Strip Lights (Wi-Fi)'.
Step 5: Choose the your 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi network that your phone is connected to and enter the password for that network and press 'Next'.
Step 6: Tick to confirm the light is blinking rapidly and then press 'Next'.
Step 7: Wait for the device configuration process to finish. Once the three steps at the bottom of the screen are complete, you will then be able to edit the name and location of each device that has been added.
Step 8: You can now control the smart device through the 'Smart Life' App
